Looking Forward
For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come. Heb 13:14 NLT

Whats upside down always looking up?
Do you ever feel like nothing is going right or that life feels like its upside down? Well here is a whole new way to look at it. When your upside down God wants your attention and has you looking toward Him. Make Him the center and the rest will fall into place.
Its not natural for us to be a Sloth, but its easy for us to become one.
Philippians 4
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
13 I can do all things through Christ[b] who strengthens me.
Philippians 3
Pressing Toward the Goal
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. 16 Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule,[b] let us be of the same mind.
I LOVE you! :-)

I've always had a soft spot for the sloth. I feel he's so misunderstood.... ;)
ReplyDeleteI felt like a Sloth yesterday.
ReplyDeleteYou labeled the Sloth as a misunderstood he. I'm sure my hubby would agree and say hes always being misunderstood. :thud
