Not only has Karula's family grown with 2 new cubs which can be found on the wildearth.tv site but my family is growing and boy is it growing by leaps and bounds. I like many others who ventured down this road of finding out a little more about their family tree has bumped into a kind lady who told me that "Deb you do have family as long as I am around. It might not be close family but there is a connection. so your daughter has family on her great grandpa side. and yes I know family can be very bull headed at time for sure. there is no perfect that is for sure. " How great is THAT?
What is family though? Better yet what does family mean to you? I have family. I mean I have 2 living sisters and a brother. Thats family by blood, doesn't mean they are MY family. I think for me family means anyone who takes you in as you are and accepts you just as you are with no strings. Ones who care and take time to ask how are you? The working family is what they should be called as they work at keeping 'it' family. If I say I am a christian will it mean anything if I don't work 'it'? Oh how actions speak volumes. Sadly my actions are a daily question. I can choose to have family or not to. I hope in my new adventure that I gain tons of family. It's the close ones, siblings, Aunts, and uncles that I need to work 'it'. Being a Christian means to love thy neighbor as thy self. Well self I guess I need to work at accepting. It comes so easy with others, I wonder why?
Today my baby girl is sick. She hardly ever gets sick, I mean puky sick. I pray God heals her soon. Her Dad prayed over her this morning and I already see a change in her. How awesome is God! He is the BEST family I and many others have, including my husband and daughter.
God sure has blessed me with many great things. I think His timing for extended family is great. I know my church family is pretty sweet too! A small church that holds a huge pack of faith. I LOVE each and everyone of them.
Hope everyone has a blessed day!
Deb
