Thankfulness

In our bible studies we were asked what we were thankful for. Not only are we to list 10 things that were thankful for but why. I'm curious to see what Alexis writes down as shes only nine and will have to post her reply at a later date. In the meantime I wonder what I would put down as well.

After deep thought and the obvious 1st choice of God and my why being that He is so worthy.

2 would have to be water. I think after the whole water for Dixie it made me realize how often I use water and never think of how MUCH I use for the simple things like brushing my teeth and letting the water continue to run until I was done. Not to forget the cooking and cleaning and bathing we all do.

3 Shelter. Whether it be shelter from dry weather or wet/cold I am thankful that we have it.

4 Eyes to see. I don't know what its like to have to wear glasses in order to see the fine print as I still have 20/20 vision. I am grateful that I can see the beauty in every person God made.

5 Emotions. I am thankful that we all have emotions and that some tend to show more then others but I love the fact I can show empathy for one another.

6 Life's test. Testing us daily to build character and increase our FAITH.

7 Speech. I am thankful God gave us the tool to be able to spread the word....I need to step it up. ;)

8 Food. I can't forget food. I love to eat. Not just any food but all food. LOL I take that back...maybe I don't need food for thought. To much calories.

9 Friends and family. Life could be lonely. As it was said Sabbath water isn't always thicker then blood. Amen!

10 My awesome little church. A safe place where two and more are gathered in His name.
